Leonardo DiCaprio Said to Star in Online Gambling Film

Academy award winner Leonardo DiCaprio has been rumoured to star in a film about online gambling based in Costa Rica. Vegas is known for the extravagant and luxurious establishments such as the Rio and Taj Mahaol, and while that may be true, Costa Rica is known for the market to operate online casinos or poker rooms.

The name of the movie has yet to be released. In fact very little info about the movie, other than the fact that it will depict online gambling behind the scenes. It will be interesting to see whether any of this film will relate to the Absolute Poker/ Ultimate Bet scandal and even more so if the producers will follow the same stigma the media has placed on gambling by claiming its illegal.

It will be interesting to see what exactly DiCaprio’s role will be in this film. Maybe Russ Hamilton lol or possibly he’ll take on the role of one of the players who was able to catch AP/UB’s inside job. Whatever it is we do hope this isn’t another shameless display at portraying the bad side of gambling. We’ve all seen plenty of that over the years.
