Cherry Red Slot Machine as Classy as the Casino
Written by Michael W. | Saturday, January 17th, 2009
If you’re anything like me and plan on spending your Saturday night indoors (out from the frigid cold) go and check out Cherry Red Casino’s very own slot machine, the Cherry Red. I figured since I am not doing anything and really didn’t feel like writing another news story today, I would take a jab at the slots. I must admit my expectations weren’t all that high on this game since we know most new slot machines replicate those released before them, but this one was fairly entertaining. Once the game loaded it was pretty easy to see how far they went into customizing this game, from the 1920’s “Flapper” to the Cherry Red Casino logo, which by the way pays a considerable jackpot if you land all 5. Obviously I was not that lucky or this article would be a “I Won!” instead of a review.
Overall the performance of the game in terms of speed was great, as are most of the new RTG games. A few features I did like was the free spins round which was triggered when I hit the $ signs. The slot awarded me 15 free spins, which is always a bonus and my wins during the free spin feature was tripled, again making me a happy camper
Cherry Red Random Progressive Slot
Since the Cherry Red slot was created by RTG, it did have the random progressive jackpot which at the time of this article had reached $3,500. Not a huge amount by any means when comparing it to some of the monsters out there but still a decent win, especially since you don’t need any predetermined combination. The only thing that could have really made this game stand out more for me was if they included a bonus round. Sure the free spins are nice, but if you’re like me you defiantly enjoy deciding which item to pick to win additional credits. Regardless, it’s a pretty fun game and one I would defiantly play again.
Just to provide a few specs for those who want to check this game out, it’s a 5 reel, 25 pay-line slot on the Real Time Gaming Network. This particular game is only available at the Cherry Red Casino, and can be played for free, or with real money. You don’t even need to download any software, as the game is also available via Cherry Red’s instant play casino which means it’s compatible for Mac’s. The Cherry Red Casino was released during the summer of 2008 and has quickly become one of the leading online casinos for US players. If you’re a new player you can also use the Cherry Red Coupon Code “SLOTSGEEK” which will credit your account with a welcome bonus up to $777. Visit Cherry Red Casino here!
