Microgaming Casinos No Longer Accepting New USA Players

According to recent reports, Microgaming, one of the largest software developers for online gambling sites may be blocking more than just players from Kentucky. A recent comment from the Jackpot Factory group states that the company will be blocking ALL new US accounts from their sites. The ruling will take effect as early as November 10th and its not just limited to the Jackpot Factory either.

InterTops.com has also placed a legal disclaimer stating “Important legal notice and disclaimer” states that “no bets will be accepted in the Casino or the Poker room if placed from: Michigan, Illinois, Louisiana, Oregon, Wisconsin, Nevada, Washington, Indiana, South Dakota, New Jersey, Utah, Kentucky and New York.”

The Belle Rock Entertainment group, also on the Microgaming network has also taken the same stance as the Jackpot Factory which means no new US accounts will be able to be created at 49 Jackpot City, Cool Hand Poker, Jackpot City Online, Lucky Nugget Online Casino, River Belle Online Casino and The Gaming Club Casino will soon be blocked from accessing the casino.

Other casinos on the list include;

• Colosseum Casino
• Vegas Joker Casino
• Vegas Country Casino
• Vegas Slot Casino
• Vegas 7 Casino

For now players will still have access to their accounts, this ruling is meant for new accounts. Microgaming was one of the main companies on the list of 141 sites which were involved in last month’s gambling lawsuit filed by the state of Kentucky. The judge in the case gave the gambling sites 30 days as of Oct 14th to meet the states requirements in blocking access from Kentucky players or have their domains seized.

Although this news is bad for the entire industry, there are still options available for a US player who wants to play slots online. Other online casinos accepting US players as of to date include those on the Rival Gaming platform and the Real Time Gaming platform. These include Bodog Casino, Club USA Casino, Rushmore Casino, Cherry Red Casino, ThisisVegas, DaVinci’s Gold Casino among others.
