Betfair Announces Two Millionth Customer – Bo Ohrman

Fifty nine year old Swedish civil servant Bo Ohrman from the village of Linkoping has the proud distinction of being Betfair’s two millionth customer. Ohrman placed a wager on Betfair predicting that Wall Street would finish down on that particular day and he was a winner. Ohrman was introduced to the site by his brother and was intrigued by the large spread of wagers, odds and bets available.

Ohrman has the following to say regarding his new found enjoyment with Betfair:

“You have to back yourself in life and when my brother showed me the site I could see instantly that it gave me a wide range of choices and I could pick my own odds, it’s certainly more fun betting on Betfair than it is betting on the stock market at the moment!”

Betfair is flying Mr. Ohrman to London for a VIP weekend where he will enjoy some premiere football league action and possibly a show at the West End. Ohrman became Betfair’s two millionth customer just twenty months after Betfair eclipsed the one million mark, a feat that took them six years to accomplish.

Betfair entered the business eight years ago and has quickly become a model that other look too for guidance. The exchange betting model has become very popular with customers and has definitely fueled Betfair’s massive increase in customer sign ups. Betfair touts themselves as one of the largest betting communities in the world with over fifteen million wagers placed each day.
